Every dog, regardless of breed or age, benefits from training. Training provides boundaries that enable both dog and handler to live their best lives together. Without it, behavior issues arise and if ignored, it escalates and becomes difficult to manage. Through one-on-one training, 3C Dog Training is dedicated to helping you learn to read your dog’s behavior and body language to better communicate with your dog - offering clear direction in your training.
Training Programs
A California native, I grew up in LA with a passion for both wild and domestic animals. Having a dog in my life since the day I arrived home from the hospital, I have been training and caring for dogs, cats, and horses my entire life. After adopting a completely wild, young Mustang horse, I studied natural horsemanship and positive reinforcement tactics for horses and then applied them to training dogs as well.

Over the years, I have studied and practiced techniques taught by master dog trainers and world champion competitors to, in turn, help others achieve a strong and healthy bond with their animals. I accomplish this by training not just the dog, but the handler as well. I focus on the psychology behind why a dog behaves the way it does, rather than a blanket solution for every dog. The best part of working with people and their dogs is witnessing the moment when they begin to work as a team. My goal is to help create a deep connection between dog and handler, which is the very foundation for producing results.

In addition to offering private lessons in Pleasanton, CA, and surrounding areas, I also teach group classes at Dodger's Paws Dog Training in Pleasanton, CA. While currently working towards becoming an accredited trainer through the IAABC, I am an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, as well as a competitor with my two Australian Shepherds, Ruby and Jax. My favorite saying is, “Training is never done. There's always another level of FUN we can have with our dogs!”
